ASA Interview on CNN Inside Africa

Posted on April 3rd, 2009 by Ovie O

The video is self-explanatory. I didn’t have the time to edit the non-music parts of it. So… our major music interest starts after the 24sec mark up until 4:40. Our girl is global!… certainly our best shot at a grammy.

We don’t have individuality in Nigeria?

:)

No, I get what she’s saying. Our society has tended to prioritize the collective over the individual, but that’s been changing quite rapidly with the last two generations of kids.

I missed Asa when she came through NYC. I was in San Francisco for a conference. I’m still raw about that. Get that GRAMMY girl!
