Shut ur mouths motherfucker, First of all I love U Steel, hope u’ll be one day my man>
And secondly what the hell??
If u don’t like the music just go away, tek wek urself quietly, I love this man he gave his best, and the song is great, u don’t know why he made the song in the first place, maybe his girlfriend is from south africa, or he likes south african girls he has the write to sing what ever he wants, when I heard the song, I just anted to be a south african girl but i’m west, which made me sad, coz there might be a less chance for me and him
anyway, it’s simple if u don’t like the song, u just don listen to it, but obviously u people have waxes in ur ears, thats why, leave him alone.
All you dooooo is nagg, u should listen to ying yang twins, they made a song extra for people like u wif ur naggin, do u guys know how far nija has tried and days after days they are trying ur best, if u think u can do better then move ur arse n do it if not then shut up and gime them respect for having the courage to entertain us!

Umm..this song does not even appeal to South Africans in any way/shape/form. So if u dedicated a song to SA women and it does not appeal to em, it sure wont appeal to Nigerian women. The lyrics are just useless, lets not even start with the fact that SA women dont like Nigerian men, so the best lyrics you could come up with was that crap? wow! You guys need to go back to the studio and re-write that song, and while u are @ it, come up with a nice House beat with some African drums n stuff with it and maybe u just might get south africans interested… peace!

Shaking my damn head at the song. Whatever happened to naija or West African girls? Oooohhhhh….I see…so these morra-suckers are not only shooting their videos in SA but they’re also partronising dem girls by dedicating a song to them. The song & video both get a F1 from moi. Kapish!

Having “much funds” will not fool fans. At the end of the day, video, lyrics, beats et al. all have to be up to par. What exactly is going on here with the story line? “South African girl, will you be my wifey, the way you smile I like it, walatili, I like it?” Okay??? And??? What ridiculous lyrics? Any African girl or SA girl with a beautiful smile you want to be your wifey? That’s more than even six wives that our African Traditional grandfathers did. That’s a whole love of wives and not very clever to do so.

The synchronism in the video is also off. Also, they start off with the black model but then the rest of the video is overwhelmingly white. The black and Indian girl appear to be tokens.

Consistent with the lyrics, “South African” girl should have 1 key SA girl in lead role [could care less if na oyinbo] that the lyrics pertain to. In fact, other girls should serve as extras or some backdrop but no focus on them.

Bottom line, having funds is a necessary condition but NOT sufficient to take YES!Media to a respected and credible level. They need to step up their game and work harder for their artists. Hire a creative lyricist, producer and director to come up with something up to par with the rest of the quality stuff coming out of Naija.

Thumbs down and pure oshi [foolishness] on this one.

Cheers,
Uduak
