Vector – Moti ft. Shogon
Posted on June 5th, 2009 by Ovie OAnother joint from Vector. I can’t seem to shake off his similarity with Jay-Z (God help me with that). His rhymes were quite impressive though.
Hit your boy up, and lemme know what you think…

its funny peeps keep comparing V with JAY, ok its good for JAY’S ego , but V is in a class of his own.

guy u are dee special one just like mi, U are unique.I am Impressed by your talent. Keep up the good work.
Its all abt being d best,f*ck d rest son.
When I read the info and comments on the post, I was wondering how bad the similarity could be but it’s blatantly obvious right from his first line. That doesn’t take away from the fact that the song is hot though, from the rap down to the beat.
Truly talented but to take it to a whole new level consider the following:
1. Finding Vector the Viper’s true voice/personality i.e. coming into your own on the essence of who you are, your mission, why you do music and when you do music what kind kind of mark are u trying to leave? Your life experiences so far might help you here which would show especially in your lyrics when you find your voice.
2.Once you get the above down, hit ‘em, the local and global music market, with what they are used to i.e. your “Jay-Z” voice; and a healthy serving of your local naija flavor in the mix. Think of it as Jay-Z going becoming NAIJA to the core!:)
This angle, I think, could potentially elevate you into a class of your own. It also helps you reduce the distractions with Jay-Zesque voice so they can concentrate and truly enjoy your work and creativity.
Impressed by your talent. Keep up the good work.
Cheers,
Uduak
