Keno – Boom Boom Kat

You know, I was actually in the studio when he mixed and recorded the last 2 minutes of this song and I must say that I have a new found respect for recording artists. Especially if you record and mix your music yourself. As M.I will say ‘Cha!’… As for me I have no business in the studio again, but I digress.
What do you think about this new one from Keno?

This comment is cracking me up. Na wa oh. As someone who doesn’t enjoy hearing men whine on songs, I can somewhat understand where this comment is coming from.
However, I have to say, that this track is a love song – classic, mellow R&B. There’s nothing wrong with it. Sounds okay to me. BTW, I prefer the second part of the track ‘Jupiter & Mars’ to the ‘Boom, Boom, Kat’. That part sounded stronger and more in line with my R&B likes. Better groove to me. Ovie and Mola, is that an independent track or is it coupled with(in) ‘Boom, Boom, Kat’ (I am so tired of writing that word, already)? If it is independent…
But, honestly, Laurie Ann Gibson needs to come claim her “Boom, Boom, Kat” moniker. Did she trademark it, cos now that it is making it into songs you know it is going somewhere…
