Rukus – Cocky + Life of a Star (freestyle)

It’s well-documented that he’s officially the FIRST rapper to drop a freestyle on the famous Gbono Feli Instrumental (God bless Don Baba J).
Rukus has already finalised plans to release an EP before the end of this month, and he says he’ll hit us with a new song every week till then.
If you’re not a “rapjunkie”, don’t even bother pushing the play button. This is realness. Naija boys are not playin’ anymore!

ima pay sauce kid some more attention coz everyone seems to haev something negative to say about him. he must be up to something. on these songs though, im on the fence. not sure how i feel about rukus as an artist of choice.
Truth be told. While ‘your boy’ lord jahza was trying to diss Sauce on the song. The other guy Chaos/Kayos was kicking his butt lyrically on the song.
nice…..the boi is intelligent..i wanna hear him and a lotta other naija artists tell stories, and really get cinematic..we’re getting punchline overdose..but he got good cadence and choice of words…

Kelechi aka Sauce Kid aka Swaggalola, you always appear whenever there is a post involving Sauce Kid and Sauce Kid alone. Unless, ofcourse, it’s a rapper that has dissed Sauce Kid. If your boy (or you) Sauce is as good as Rukus, drop a hit song this year. You can’t drop a verse with true meaning to save your life. Remy Ma’s bitch!

True, the beats are insane. The rapper makes good use of the beats though. It seems we can have a true hiphop awards in Naija now. Not one or two rappers dominating the whole thing every year.
