Bounty – Upgrade + Sample Ur Bobi

Posted on July 24th, 2009 by Ovie O

For those who listened to Orun Nile and were quite impressed by the unknown talent called Bounty, well, here he is again! He’s currently “affiliated” with Tuface’s Hypertek Records. Both songs may not be as good as the notjustOk readers’ favorite, Orun Nile, but I think they’re nice, all d same.

There’s a rumor going around that Hypertek is about to (or has already) shut down. I got confirmation from the camp, and the answer is… “for now, yes!”

Not every song on an album will be identical. Otherwise, what’s the use buying an album? The dude still comes correct with with his vocal delivery.

@upgrade….very nice jam….yoruba lyrics cant go wrong for me….loving it….nice beat and production as well….jaysleek is a wolf…..

@sample ur bobi….same comment as upgrade….but dis jam is more down to earth and naija flavoured….I will definitely get ur CD when it drops….da name bounty is etched in my memory now….

but am lost…bounty’s voice sounds more sonorous in “orun nile”….wats up?

am not surprised hypertek has folded up…..I guess Tuface is far too busy taking care of his babies and baby mamas….lol

keep repping, bounty….

@Tmonei, nice one on spotting the diff. btw how he sounds here and how he sounds on “Orun Nile.” Well, to my knowledge, he started of with these “not-so-new” singles, and he’s grown to what he is now on “Orun Nile.” Fingers crossed, with hopes of continuous improvement, we’ll hear pure class whenever he drops another track.

On a side note, I must say we appreciate your continuous inputs here on notjustOk (not to say we don’t appreciate everyone else’s). I can’t tell if you’re truly feeling most of the songs you comment on, but the effort you put into breaking them down (both positive and negative) hasn’t gone unnoticed by us or the artistes themselves.
