Hero5000 – We Global + Shayo (Remix)
Posted on October 12th, 2009 by Mola OG“Dougie Stryfe and FC Da Blessing, make up the U.S. based group, who have been performing and recording together for the past four years. With music that’s a potent blend of mesmerizing beats, incredible melodies, and unmatched lyrical skill; Hero5000 is here to the rescue. The Washington, D.C. Metro Area based hip-hop group of Nigerian & Ethiopian heritage, respectively, are here to offer their fresh global perspective on hip hop music.”
These guys are solid rappers! FcDaBlessing is Nigerian while DougieStryfe is from Ethiopia; if they do all the right things as far as promo and strategy, they may be able to penetrate both markets (Nigerian and Ethiopian) to create a serious buzz for themselves in Africa as a whole.
Even the Shayo Remix, as old as it is still sounds lovely!
Shayo (Remix) ft Kunzo, Tonestar & Hero5000

wow… nowonder!! here I was thinking that nigga dognomite remixed their joints and I was about to go off and say wehtin hit dognomite for head lol.. no wonder this rmx is missing that party/club mix or something lol! it’s missing that “dognomite” touch mehn. nice one tho.
This remix sux. Worst for 08-09. Listen to Djinee and feat MI overkillin it remix. Thats a remix even Diddy go bow. Stop bringing your poor music taste spoiling our musik
“We Global” was good. That chorus was something serious.
The beat on “Shayo” is very nice and I definitely like this track. And they are base din the DMV? Oya, time to share this with the Habisha community folks. Good job guys! Any Ethiopian-influenced tracks from them? Would definitely help push them in the area given the large Habisha community. Their “Shayo” track will open roads in the Naija community, no doubt, if played right. Plus, the Spanish on the track is perfect to gain as large an audience as possible. Smart move.
that first song is madd..shayo remix also very well done…looking forward to more from these guys

Madd joints. The lyrics and delivery are pure.
Damnnnnnnn the second song fire, they went in like some navy seals! The second dude killed it though, but they re both nice with the flow. I agree with Mola, theyve got mad potentials, they just hav to make the right moves.
