I love notjustok.com commenters, you guys call stuff out in a heart beat. In GT’s case, yes he is signed to Storm records, but he has never come out with an album nor does he have a huge following. He currently has all the characteristics (at least to the general public) of an unsigned artist except his signature on the dotted line with Storm Records.
Our thinking when deciding was that, he has the potential to blow and he is signed with Storm but we can still
Hype him because he has not blown yet. In addition, the word ‘unsigned’ may need to be changed. What if a new Naija
artiste like a Delcity or vector suddenly gets picked up by a record label (popular or not) before we (notjustok.com)
hear about him, but he has not blown yet, do we say ‘O no he is signed so we can not hype him’? Also, in reality
most of the people that have been on notjustOk hype will tell you that they are signed to their own label so do you consider that person ‘Unsigned’?
… Or do they have to blow before we consider them signed since being signed to your own label as an unknown is damn near equivalent to being unsigned… So even the word ‘Signed’ is relative… Signed to a BIG label or your own label? We will replace the ‘unsigned’ word to avoid any more confusion. That is the best solution if you ask me, let me know if you have any objection (it does not
mean I will do what you say, but at least I will listen)

This guy is really good with the vocals and the guitar. I’ve been jamming Oshima Gbomi for months now and have been wondering when he would drop some more sturvs. Can’t wait for the album.

I thought I was the only one thinking it. At first I wasn’t sure if he was a dude or babe but I figured “GuitarMan” has to be a guy. Hehehe. Nothing on the guy, its just how I felt initially.
