Leak: Ice Prince ft “Manager” – Got Ur Back (The High School Song)

This one features Godwin Tom aka “Manager”, his real-life manager (…same as M.I and Jesse Jagz). Incidentally, Godwin used to be in a group a long time ago, along with Kel (she referred to the group on Wa Wa Alright with the line: started with ma bois in “Testify”). Now, Ice is showing us that even the Choc City manager can still hold his own on the mic.
This track was billed to drop sometime next week but it was leaked over the weekend by some “in-house sources.” Mr. Ice Prince, winner of the just-concluded Hennessy Artistry 2009, is working on a mixtape titled “Anonymous” featuring an Anonymous set of artistes, and it’s billed to drop on an Anonymous date in 2010 . lol!

I would like to use this opportunity to clarify that this song will not be on Ice Prince’s album. It is merely music we are putting out to ensure the artiste always has something new for his fans. “Got your Back” will be on Ice Prince’s yet to be titled mixtape coming out soon, so watch out for that!
Btw… The inspiration for this track was Drake’s “Best I ever had” re-produced with a few noticeable changes by E Kelly, a Rytchus Era Producer.
