Posted on November 9th, 2009 by Ovie OSinger/Super-producer, Jay Martins, has released his sophomore album titled “Elevated” and it’s currently doing well in the local market.
The 10-track album (not counting the instrumentals) was co-written by Bracket, P-Square and J. Martins, and all the songs were produced by J. Martins himself. The featured artistes include Bracket, Jesse Jagz, Vector, Illbliss, Waje, and an international act, Wyre (from Kenya). It also features the only released single till date… Oyoyo!

AUTOTUNE!!!!!
I agree with fesh big time! It would be wonderful if notjustok should have a full library of naija music for sale. That would be a great improvement. even if it’s not possible for whatever reason you guys are still doing a great job with the site so keep it up!
ovie for the fact u didnt notice dat u iva’s beat was lifted from the song ifeoma means u re new to naija music lol,it was fully over the song and considering ‘ifeoma’ was a massive radio hit i expect u to regonise…lol…jay martin i dey feel u sha,u didnt dissapoint, beat or no beat no matter aleast u re notting singing about boobs and ass and weed
Hope jay martins…..Is one one sampling SOB..Hope he gives credit to the original owners.. Iva ( contains not only interpolation Rather exact instrumentations from Ifeoma by Felix Liberty) and Oyoyo base instrumentals are from 90’s Rub-a-dub hit” Its the way”
Be original my broda. Terry G like him or hate him, He is very original in his production
Good spot, Truth! It was DJ Dee Money who first told me 2days back that Iva was sampled (Ignorant me!) but I hear it clearly now tho.
Even the “Oyoyo”… never saw that one coming.
Regardless, u gotta admit he made these songs his own by giving them that characteristic J. Martins flavor. I can tell his songs in my sleep… and that’s not necessarily a bad thing.
ovie, una go sell this Jay Martins album album? i think notjustok.com should have a full audio library of naija music for sale abi my fellow brethren wetin una think?
I also agree with your suggestion, Fesh.
wow, the music is great. real talk.
