Rukus ft Maxwell – Baby Making Music

Posted on November 24th, 2009 by Mola OG

Rukus, another well respected Nigerian rapper in Yankee, always keeps it fresh when he resurfaces.

This track was produced by Kid Konnect; he samples the ‘Woman’s Work‘ song by Maxwell. It’s a slow tune and Rukus come correct as always.

This is nicely done. Not too thrilled by the lyrics, but the creative use of one of my favourite songs is well on point.

That’s total bullshit. He has not even scratched the surfce. I’m not buying into this guy. He’s a pappose kinda rapper, hype amongst mola n ovie, where are his fans? U can’t buy fans. They choose

I usually don’t defend rappers… Olumide you are entitled to your opinion… However, to deny that Rukus is respected among his peers and those who have heard his music would mean that you are not a fan or rap, you have not listened to at least 3 of his songs or you just don’t like the guy personally… Forget buying fans, lets talk skill and flow… Pappoose is also well respected, just because you don’t have 10,000 fans does not mean that the ones that know you don’t respect your skill level…

If popularity equates to respect then you are correct…
