‘I Love You’ by Timi Dakolo… WORLD CLASS song. ‘I Love You’ [d video directed by Bobby Boulders] not even a LOCAL CLASS video. WHAT WERE THEY THINKING and please some1 tell me 2milli wasn’t paid for ds vid rather 2naira was paid 4 it cos men Bobby fcukd up big tym, I mean, I’m ashamed. This video is an insult of the highest order when Nigerian videos have gone world class, Timi has gone wrong this tym, I mean I can’t brag abt this video to ma southy friends like do as usual. PLZ there’s a need to reshoot this video ASAP.
cant lie the song is WORLD CLASS…but the video is FAR from that.

good video,nice and original concept…but i thot timi is a gospel artist,what happens to dat now…d way it is u cant do gospel anymore,dats bad becos i actually enjoy ur singing wen u come to my church…d church has lost a good singer,but its your loss timi and not ours cos dere’s no place like the presence of the LORD…..

Sometimes less is more.song is fab but the flight skl concept is laughable.hear 2m was paid for this…u guys were cheated..Timi from a true fan pay more attn to every decision.lookin 4wd to album.ur still a winner in my eyes sha
The highpoint of this video is 2:22-2:29 and the camera movement when JJ stood in front of the aeroplane. These shots were well thought out and executed.
Other things I noticed;
0:09- I think there was some confusion about the name of the school. Aviation College is boldly written and below it is a faded Aviation Academy.
0:32- and the subsequent fish eye shot turned out a tad darker than the rest of the daylight shots.
0:54- the locker room scene. Lighting was poor, one light from the angle of the camera. Tight space, I see, but could have done better.
3:44 – Shaky hands slowed down the momentum for me.
4:26- quite colorful and the positioning of the sun in the frame is nice.
Overall a fresh concept and I’ll give a 7/10.

mate its tripple h with two p’s. I can spell. secondly im a hip hop fan not an industry hopeful. cant blame you sha with all the other haters on this blog. I actually am an investment banker. i just dont like seeing my people ripped off. that song is dope and the camera it was shot on is crazy.
the video however is whack! honestly. I thought BB was the shit, from other stuff, but he is sylar. We know who directed the dope video’s i wont say, but i know. this is the first one he directed himself, God knows why he did that. he must have been high off all the praise he got for jacking other people’s video’s. when i found out i was so disappointed, but still had faith in the bed rock native. But this just confirms all the speculation. now, what is a directors role…..? answer that question to yourself, and you’ll be just as offended as i am, even if you are BB himself. i aint saying nothing else
