What is all this about nigerians not doing anything for jos? what is happening in Jos? People are choosing to kill each other in the name of religion? should we support that by throwing fundraisers for them? if so we might as well support all the terrorist acts going on in the middle east…even if we were to send funds to Jos, what channel would it go through? what structures are in place for them to receive charity.
They dont need money right now, they need the government to step in.

i think helping haiti out is a very good thing, if we had an earthquake pf that magnitude in nigeria, you best believe we would be relying on international help too…caus ewe have little or none when it comes to emergency services and rescue teams.
as for statements that we dont do anything for our own people, that is load of crap. I know at my church we have the Obalende project, to help peopke there, we give to orphans, and we feed them. On a personal level, i know what i do, charity begins at home but we dont have to shout about it!

Haiti needs us, what has happened to them is a natural disaster, way beyond anybody’s control, what is happening in Jos is man made. What they need is counselling and advice…so you want us to send them momey so that they can do what? Buy guns for killing each other? pleease!
and for all of you beefing these young artists who are trying to make a stand for haiti, why dont you stop being typically nigerian, if it bugs you that much, organise your own fundraiser for Jos, and stop hating on the good these people are doing.
At the end of the day, black, white, yellow, jos, haiti, we are all part of one race, lets be HUMAN!!!

AND DONT FORGET…1 out of every 3 black men in this world is pf nigerian descent….i already know of 3 nigerian families who have lost their loved ones in HAITI.

so what is the issue? You said it, in Jos it is stupidity, what do you do to remedy that? Ive moved back where are you? We need people like you out there making a difference. Dont say that people shouldnt support Haiti, with our infrastructure, useless Government etc, if we had an earthquake here, with the amount of illiteracy, can you imagine the catastrophe? So how can you knock these guys for supporting Haiti……….

I was at the show last night, MI and some other forward thinking young Nigerians are putting together a SOLUTION for Jos. Big up MI

nobody knocks down any haitian supporters we just want all that positivity to be re-directed to the right quaters!! You said u guys r putting together a solution for jos which is commendable!! that what we should be doing, putting our medicine where body dey hurt pass and not throwing it away,

supporting haiti right now is not sensible seeing that we cant support ourselves, the naija delta guys upon not receiving their pay are trying to start wahala again, there will be more religious uprest upnorth and the best we can do is support haiti? common man, be real

My tots exactly, i dont know how naija developed this wannabe-developed-country attitude. apart from the fact that a lot of nigerians need a lotta assistance, there was a crisis in jos, no naiji artists did anything neither did notjustok publish any solidarity video or article. please lets wake up and help ourselves. like our elders say, remove the speck of dust in ur eye before…..

The state of any rural community in Nigeria is not as a result of a natural disaster. You’re barking up the wrong tree. Hold your corrupt leaders responsible for the poverty prevalent in an oil producing nation. It’s neither a natural disaster, nor the fault of the celebrities that there’s poverty in Nigeria.
