Check out a pair of brand new tunes from Legendary artiste, Sound Sultan. Dude continues to show why he’s one of the most lyrically blessed musicians in Nigeria by releasing quality after quality on a consistent basis.
“One” is a lovely tune featuring 2face, and it preaches unity among mankind. The depth of the lyrics on this particular song makes it go down as an instant classic in my book (and that of so many others). “Orobo” is more of a mid-tempo party tune with that Naija feel. I’d easily bump it at a party if I were a DJ.
Now, to the 20 Ten (2010) album itself, we are told these are the final 2 singles that will be released before it hits the streets. Judging by the singles released, it’s safe to say we should expect a CLASSIC ALBUM for all generations.

“Through all the struggle, through all the pain,
through all the things that drive a man insane.
We stick together, we will stand tall.
I will be there to catch you when you fall!”
You can follow me to where our hearts will beat as ONE.
You can follow me to where all the stars will shine as ONE!
One ft 2face (A Jay Sleek Production)

This is one duo that needs no introduction whatsoever. Bracket’s hit single, Yori Yori, was arguably the biggest song in Nigeria for the year 2009, topping countless charts and scooping several awards, most recently a “Song of the Year” recognition at the HipHop World Awards 2010.
Now it’s 2010, and they’re back with a brand new joint… well… not exactly. This new smash-song featuring Nigeria’s biggest artiste, 2face Idibia, is a remix to the successful “Yori Yori” single but it sounds nothing like the original. In my opinion, this remix is every inch as good as the original version, and I see it making a very similar impact.
In other news, Bracket recently concluded a tour of the United States. Next stop later this month will be South America. We’re also told a new (currently untitled) album will be released sometime in October. This song goes straight into my favorite playlist.

So, over the last couple of weeks, we’ve given you guys a full dose of 2face Idibia’s genius. Now, it’s only right to crown it all by providing the song which features another fan favorite, M.I; a remix to “Be There”. For the records, M.I is the ONLY ARTISTE featured on any of the previously unheard tracks in the International Edition of the Unstoppable album.
Another beautiful song from 2 geniuses of our time! Have you bought the album yet? Let me know what you think…

The Egberipapa-1 of Bayelsa, Timaya, released his 3rd album titled “De Rebirth” on Friday, May 28th and we’ve posted 2 new joints off it below. His last album, Gift & Grace, was released about 18 months ago, and he’s been doing shows nonstop from the North to the South. This new album will definitely keep him relevant in the industry for the foreseeable future.
For those in Nigeria, if the album hasn’t reached your local vendor yet, it’s probably ‘cos it was sold out in the opening weekend of release. Be patient. The next batch will get to you.
Shout-out to the good folks at Naijaura.com for sending this in.

We gave you guys a brand new single (…and candidate for “Song of The Year”) from 2face Idibia sometime last week… now here’s the video for “Only Me”.
As a reminder, “The Unstoppable International Edition” is now in stores. It’s an instant classic!
Director: Clarence Peters.
*O.O*
For those in Nigeria, this is what the new “Unstoppable International Edition” looks like… and it costs 1,000 Naira. If you see any inferior paper-back copy, it is pirated, and you’re strongly advised not to purchase it.

AREA!!!
Here’s a debut single from an artiste I only heard of recently. His stage name is MeSHACK! I currently don’t have much info on him other than the fact that he must be well-grounded to be able to get 2face, Timaya, Faze, Sound Sultan, Blacko Blaze, Maleke and Bash Oloye all on a Jay Sleek-produced track (that requires some industry clout).
As soon as I get more info on MeSHACK, I’ll fill you guys in. He also made reference to Warri at the end, so that tells us where he’s from.
*O.O*

This Super-collabo was Premiered on Brila FM and Rhythm FM a few days ago and is quickly getting on heavy rotation. It’s safe to say it will become a hit!
