JJC is not joking around with this “We Are Africans” campaign (Branding) and I have to say that I respect his effort for not half stepping once, but going all out on the visuals for all the song versions.
Look, this has to be the best video that has come out of Nigeria this year, so far. Crisp video and SOLID remix with credible artistes.
There is no need to shoot a video outside of Nigeria any longer, just holler at Big Boyz Entertainment and they will hook you up for the right price.

Danny Young in the building!… Orita Fogo!
Danny Young, a local crooner, recently released his album, Crossover, which is currently doing very well in the Lagos market. He’s been on his grind for a long time now, and his hardwork is finally yielding fruits with shows after shows, and a solid album to go with it.
The first song is “My Girl” featuring veteran artiste, Paul Play Dairo alongside hotshot rapper, Kel. The 2nd song features AY.Com, who’s still enjoying benefits of having one of the biggest tracks of 2009 by appearing in loads of features. Other artistes on the album include Olu Maintain, Klever Jay, K-Solo and LKT. The album also features the popular single Oju Ti Won.
It’s a very good album, I promise! Go cop it!

If you thought you had heard enough of the “We Are Africans” hit tune, well, there’s more!
This time it’s the All-Star Naija Remix featuring Femi Kuti, AY.Com, Da Grin, DJ Zeez, Kel and eLDee (alot, shey?) …and the song stays crunk, as expected!
Big ups to JJC aka Mr. Skillz for giving us another mouthwatering collabo. I expect big things from him this year.

Brand new joint from Ay.com, the real owner of the hit track “Pass Me Ur Love.” lol. I’m quite surprised he’s already working on a new album only months after releasing the previous one.
Only time will tell if he can match his previous success with this new joint which is obviously targeted at the lovers of Naija dance music.

News broke out a couple of weeks ago concerning an incident between Terry G and Ay.com at the Oluwe & Friends Show in Unilag. Well, this is a rare video of what actually went down. Ay.com explains…
For the records, DJ Humility was never stabbed, as some sources had claimed.

New party joint from OJ Sax (not Yemi Sax). The Saxophone game is starting to really pick up steam in Naija, and he’s one of the heavyweights behind this new trend. We hear an album is already in the works, with as many as SEVEN (7) songs already on the radio (albeit remixes). Stay tuned!

Here’s another song from Ay.com. This time he brings along K-Solo AND Terry G on the same beat. Surprised? Yes. Disappointed? Not at all.
K-Solo and Terry G productions have received a healthy dose of criticism here on notjustOk, which is remarkably a stark contrast to the reality of the Lagos market. The kings of “street hiphop” productions pulled this off quite well, in my opinion.
To the track itself, there’s indeed a message which people back home will definitely embrace.
