A few months ago, we posted a brand new single “I Am William” from 2Shotz, one of the veterans in the Naija hiphop game. We also told y’all that his 5th (and possibly final) album was in the works. The final product is now set for release later this month, and hopefully, it will be made available for purchase right here at the notjustOk Shop. Guest appearances include M.I, Shank, Jesse Jagz, Ice Prince, YQ, Enze, Lynxx, Olstar, Waje. Production credits include some of the finest in the industry, Cobhams, Dr Frabz, Jesse Jagz, eLDee, Terry G, J-Smith, Spanky and IKON!

“I Am William” was directed by the highly respected DJ Tee, produced by M.I (hook also done by him), and shot in Victoria Island, Lagos. All in all, this will go down as a “Grade A” video by all standards. Enjoy!

Kennis Music recording Gospel artiste, Kenny Saint Brown, recently released her new album “Turn Around” and this is the latest single off the drop. Her biggest hit till date has been the “Turn Me Around” single with DaGrin (RIP). On this new single “Alaye”, she brings along Hotshot rapper Ice Prince who does some damage in a way only he can.

Only time will tell if this song can attain that “hit” status. Considering the quality of the tune and the video (everyone looked like they enjoyed being in it) as well as the promo machine that is Kennis Music, I wouldn’t bet against it.

Legendary rapper, EeDris Abdulkareem, has released his latest album titled “Unfinished Business” under the Kennis Music Label. We gave you guys We Ain’t No Terrorists, Ngbati Ngbati and “Calabar Love” off the album. Now, you can watch the video for the lead single “Calabar Love” which we also Premiered back in February this year (as Calabar Girl). I particularly like the way Keke is getting more involved with his artistes and being more active in their videos. #ForeverYoung!

“Unfinished Business”, an 18-track album, was released this past Monday the 12th of July so it’s still too early to gauge it’s success rate. However, we’re working hard to make it available for purchase at the notjustOk Shop as soon as possible. We’ll keep you posted.

As posted earlier by Mola, several Nigerian stars got together to record a tribute song for the late rap king, DaGrin. This is the video for that single. Man, it still hurts everytime I see DaGrin’s face or hear his voice. The pain is still there. Na wa oh!

Wow! It’s mid-November already!… and that means the Christmas madness is just around the corner.
Chief Dele Momodu, Publisher of Ovation Magazine, is currently planning the annual Ovation Red Carol involving several top entertainers in the country.

On this video, I see Wande Coal, Omawumi, Olu Maintain, OJB (i think), Jazzman Olofin, with special appearances by Kefee, Steel, among others.

The Ovation Red Carol is strictly by invitation.

Okay! I know I’m not supposed to stick out my neck for one particular artiste but I can’t help it this time. Da Grin has to be the VERY BEST Indigenous rapper in Nigeria – not just for his lyrics, but also for his versatility. I’m waiting for the day Lord of Ajasa or Nigga Raw can murk a Southern Hiphop beat like Da Grin just did on this joint!
