Sinzu is Sinzu!!!
Brand new mixtape material from OluwaSaucekibaba himself and Ikechukwu. On this joint, both lyricists pull the trigger on the “Always Strapped” instrumental; and I’m told it will be on Sauce’s next mixtape titled ““Da Rip Off“.”
Sauce has just wrapped up the video shoot for his next single “Under G” produced by Don Jazzy. The single drops anytime from now. In addition, the much-anticipated “African American” album will be released under Storm Records sometime in March (we don wait tire!).
Gotta say both rappers were messy with their flows; the kinda lyrical heat we’re now accustomed to. Sauce, my oga, ABEG RELEASE YOUR ALBUM!!!
Enjoy!

Here’s another edition of the notjustOk Select-10; the first for the year 2010. It’s almost unbelievable to think that the month of January has come and gone so fast. However, if you haven’t started hitting the dizzy heights you expect for 2010, no worries; there’s another 11 months left.
The month of December brought us huge drops from music heavyweigths 9ice, 2face Idibia, eLDee and Modenine, as well as R & B kings Styl-Plus and Darey. Please, feel free to download December’s buzz tracks released here on the site using the “DOWNLOAD” link below.
notjustOk select is not a Top 10 list of any kind and there is no underlying reason why one song is listed before the other; there is no first or last.
notjustOk Select – 10 is a list of ten songs/posts that have made a major impact on the listeners/readers in a given month. Several factors come into determining how big of an impact a single post made in a given month, such as page views, record breaking amount of comments and constant mp3 request for the specific song. In addition to spotlighting the select 10s, we will provide a DOWNLOAD link so that you can save the mp3s.
The download link will be up for 3 DAYS ONLY! after which it will be deleted/deactivated!
Killz is BACK!!!
Ikechukwu, who was formerly a part of the highly-successful Storm Records label, switched allegiance to the equally successful Mo Hits Records (don’t ask me why). He previously pulled off a real coup with the single “Wind Am Well” featuring Don Jazzy topping charts across Africa. Now that he’s gone full-time with Mr. Jazzy and the Mo hits crew, can they replicate the success? I wouldn’t bet against it.
After releasing a relatively low-key album a while back, Killz has gone back to the drawing in a bid to churn out what should be a solid comeback album titled “The Alliance” and this is expected to drop sometime in 2010.
Here are 3 fresh singles off The Alliance; the first titled Critical featuring D’Banj, the 2nd, a solid Igbo tune alongside Don Baba Jay, and the 3rd joint, It’s All On Me, where he goes full hiphop. All 3 songs are expected to hit the radio in a bit. Let us know your thoughts…

Side-note: With Naeto C and Ikechukwu still both repping WFA, who really owns it?
Critical ft D’Banj
Now Is The Time ft Don Jazzy
It’s All On Me
Let me re-iterate this; notjustOk select is not a Top 10 list of any kind and there is no underlying reason why one song is listed before the other; there is no first or last.

April was a lovely month full of heavy bangers from the finest in Naija music, see the list below and click on the download link to get them.
Another banger off Ikehchukwu’s ‘Life and Times of Killz Vol1′ album, which is sadly not available for purchase anywhere online (at least for now), but I’m sure that you can buy a copy on any Gidi street corner.
Killz brought his skillz and Killettt it, M.I understood it and sliced the beat into pieces (please forgive my wack attempt at rhyming, I promise never to try it again…lol). They both brought it though. I like the beat and the trumpets on this track.
Let me know your thoughts.
A Big Shout out to Grumpy Old Man for sending this in.
‘…Just so he could show and prove and they could listen and learn cause if they’d listen and learn may be they’d learn how to earn‘
Before I get slaughtered by the ultra-reliable music heads on the site, I must say this song is definitely old. It’s a 2006 collaboration off the Storm Records mixtape featuring music heavyweights D’Banj, Naeto C, eLDee and Ikechukwu.
We got some emails concerning the existence of the song, so I figured I’d post it for clarification.
For arguments sake, I’d say D’Banj killed dem all on the freestyle. Enjoy!
