Check out a “Hold Yuh” remake from Jos-based crew, The GRIP Boiz, who are mostly known for their covers for major hits (see their catalogue on the site). The “GRIP Boiz” consists of 4 guys: Endia, J Milla, Yung El and Producer Chopsticks.

I also added another “cover” they made for Rihanna’s hit tune, “Rude Boy”. Theirs is, as expected, titled “Rude Gyal”.

There’s something about that “Hold Yuh” instrumental that gets me everytime. Chopsticks modified it quite well. Feel these joints!

New heat from the GRIP Boiz. This time, it’s a remake of 50 Cent’s “Baby By Me.” Maybe it’s time for them to put together a series of remakes and release them as a mixtape. The likes of Endia, Yung El, J. Mila, and producer Chopsticks have done well so far.

We are told to expect an official single soon.

New heat from dem boiz from J-Town!

Once again, the GRIP Boiz are made up of Endia, Yung El, J. Mila, with resident producers, Chopsticks and e-Kelly. These guys come korrect everytime. I’m diggin’ this tune.

The GRIP Boiz are back!

This time, they’re murking the recently-released single, Somebody Wants To Die, from fellow J-Town Ambassadors, M.I & Ice Prince. The GRIP Boiz, which includes cats like Endia, Yung EL, J. Mila, e-kelly and Chopsticks, are slowly carving out a reputation for remaking certified hit singles. Will this become a viable selling tool in the industry? You tell me.

That said, who rocked the joint better? M.I/Ice Prince or The GRIP Boiz?
