Here’s a fresh debut single from Port-Harcourt Based artiste, E-Gnyte. E-Gnyte, who is originally from Owerri, Imo State, is presently signed to Ekobeats; same label as another PH-based crooner, Keeno.
To the song itself, I’m loving every bit of it! It has that Soca/Calypso/Island feel to it… and then the Igbo lines merged with French (iThink) makes it sound even more international. This is definitely one for all generations: young and old. If it doesn’t become a hit, I’ll be surprised. Listen and enjoy!
Uncle Jay Martins has put out another video for a previously-posted single off his “Elevated” album titled “Iva”; a high-life song, which also samples a couple of old-school hits including the Ifeoma instrumentals.
There’s something about Jay Martins that just sets him apart from most of the other modern Nigerian artistes. He has that vintage presence and veteranish charisma. No gra-gra at all! Not to mention the “sweetness” of all his songs. A cool and jandish video, in my opinion. What’s yours?
Singer/Super-producer, Jay Martins, has released his sophomore album titled “Elevated” and it’s currently doing well in the local market.
The 10-track album (not counting the instrumentals) was co-written by Bracket, P-Square and J. Martins, and all the songs were produced by J. Martins himself. The featured artistes include Bracket, Jesse Jagz, Vector, Illbliss, Waje, and an international act, Wyre (from Kenya). It also features the only released single till date… Oyoyo!
Goodness me! If Owerri women were really this pretty, I’d relocate to Imo State sharply sharply. Kinda reminds me of the lovely ladies in Solid Star’sOne In A Million video with 2baba. Clarence surely knows where to find beautiful video models.
This is the official Premiere of Jay Martins’ brand new video for the previously-posted hit single “Oyoyo.” Jay Martins, a renowned producer with a production line brighter than most, is currently working on his own album, and we’re told to expect more heat in the coming weeks/months.
Guest celeb appearances in the video include illbliss, Dr. Frabz, RITA from Koko Mansion (she’s now a celeb o!), KC Presh, Steel, Bracket, Suspect, Obi-Won, Nigga Raw, Tony Okoye, Richard Nnadi (W.A.C.K. events), Osoba Jay (I see you, bro) and many others.
Verdict: Simple, but yet great video to match a diabetes-inducing song. Consume with care.
