Lucci is back with some conscious material. He recorded Country So Tuff (which uses Lil Wayne’s Leather so Soft instrumental) a day after President Yaradua passed away and addresses the lack of electricity, oil money greed and the economic issues in Nigeria.  So Giddi is obviously about Lagos and Lucci recommends us of some behaviors to adopt while in Giddi.

Lucci the thurd(3rd) world head honcho is back with a remake of Jay-z’s run this town. I call it a remake because he re-wrote/sang the hook and of course he laced the instrumental with original barz. He is currently working on his album which should be ready some time in 2010.
After listening to several songs from Lucci (some that have not been posted yet), I have to admit that he is not only a fierce lyricist but a very good rapper with the ability to create a solid rap album.

Here is a snippet for L’Ami’s debut Video for Nuttin (song was originally named Nutin Do You ). She is looking beautiful as always and the video is looking good too, but I don’t know, I have a problem with the spelling of her name as petty as it sounds. I think they need to change it to  ‘L’AMI’ as opposed to how they have it spelt in the beginning ‘LAMI’ just my 2 cents; it gives an extra edge to the name.

Expect nothing but good music from her upcoming album which should be out soon. Lucci was not able to make the video shoot, he was out of the country and that’s IKON, the producer in the sunglasses.

IKON is the one on the hook; 9ice mellow rap track. Kind of reminds me of a Jay Dee produced track. The video for ‘Tell Me Nothing‘ by SDC will be out soon!
