To all “Dat N.I.G.G.A. Raw” fans, the wait is over!
The Don of Eastern Hiphop, a seasoned HipHop veteran in the Nigerian Industry, is coming out with a new album this year titled “End of Discussion” and “Spiritual Konji” is the first single off it. We’re told the follow-up single will be “Okechukwu” and the video has already been shot by Bobby Hai.
On “Spiritual Konji”, he sticks to the very same style of rap that made him a household name around the country; mostly pidgin, but always carrying a message. I really hope he bounces back stronger with this new album.

Here’s another Igbo tune, thanks to the homie SDOTGANG. If you do not know Tony 1-Week, you either did not grow up in Nigeria or you were born within the last 10 years. This guy ruled all beer parlours, Keggites spots and virtually every party with his gyration tunes (who can possibly forget “Onwa December”????).
Thanks to the ever-reliable google, I just found out he’ll be dropping a new album this month titled “Champion” featuring the likes of Nigga Raw (this track), J. Martins, Duncan Mighty, African China, Flavour and a few others… and as always, it will include a medley titled “Champion!” I can’t wait!

Another Northern cat in the bulding, albeit with loads of Southern influence in his music (singing in a bit of Urhobo).
I’m definitely feeling this “Tungba” track. The rhythm is nice, and the word “tungba” could easily become a street slang.
Your thoughts on this…

On the 2nd track, the Plateau/Borno boy (North) features Nigga Raw (East) on some K-Solo beat (West) and a couple of Niger-Delta lines on the verses (South-South)… corny analysis, I know.

I wonder why I hadn't heard about Duncan mighty prior to receiving his info from Ovie? This dude is really under the raider considering how good he is.
One reason may be because he doesn't have a video anywhere online and most people don't even know what he looks like.
My Igbo people – Abeg wettin the song title mean?
I believe he is the one in the Red shirt on the far left
