Here is the EP from Zubby aka “the word play master”. He continues to amaze me with his skills; flow and lyrics which he displays heavily on this EP . He is set to enter the Nigerian market in 2010 with the help of Roll-a-Dice entertainment.

“Born in England, to Nigerian parents, Zuby grew up in Saudi Arabia where he attended an American school. He developed his enthusiasm for hip hop during his secondary school years in the UK before attending Oxford University, where he began writing and recording his raps as a hobby. Since then, he has performed live in the UK, USA, Germany and Saudi Arabia and received radio and club airplay locally and internationally.”

After listening to Zuby, you will easily conclude that he is both lyrical and versatile with his flow. On ‘Too Many‘ he flows fast but still manages to enunciate all his words while staying on course with the beat. If you are hip hop head, you will love him on ‘The Same Ones‘ where he flows on what sounds similar to a DJ Premiere produced joint (classic type beat) which he does some serious justice to.

I’m excited about Zuby and I really hope that they (Roll-A-Dice Entertainment) break him into the Naija Music scene properly. Let me know what you think.
