Hit the nail on the head right there sista, thats one of the reasons why i love listening to dagrins songs even though, i dont understand what he be saying more than half of the time. But Bcoz he spits in yoruba hes got this aura of originality that just makes you proud of how far hip hop has come in Nigeria, real talk.

9ice’s ability to use harmony effectively, not just lyrically, but also in how he arranges his music, helps him stand apart from his contemporaries. Personally, I can’t wait to get his new album. I just hope his videos will match up, but this snippet has definitely wet my appetite…

You mean harmony with real voices or autotune?

@Eagle common now u and I know that he does not really need to use autotune but he just decided to play with it.

Oh no, I’m not saying that he needed it. Of course not. He did two albums without it, I just wonder why it became such an attraction now.

Peeps criticizing please…………even world acclaimed stars struggle to match hits. Gongo aso is a global hit. I have seen people of different walks of life, cultural background, ethnicity or whatever political dimension you wanna group humans, dance to the song like there is no tomorrow. Regardless of Gongo aso, his other tracks have set the tone for him as a distinct Nigerian artiste with a style and voice that cannot be matched. Sure ego can come in but you shouldn’t all rage out to diss a mere snippet. Whichever way he wants to say liquor , let him be, music is a universal language.Peeps will get it once they listen!! Do refrain from trying to match his tracks with gongo aso, it just cant be!! Has 50cent given the world another track as powerful as “In da club?” But all the damn tracks in the get rich or die trying album were awesome tracks. What we consumers should hope for is consistency in the style that caught us and not trying to match tracks and hits. I now understand why everyone goes spitting shit about 2face. Has he given another hit has great as “African Queen?” Yet hommie is consistent in delivering good singing and admirable lyrics. Learn to be good critics fellow notjustok followers. Good job in here though :)

9ice easy now…no need to come online hidding under the name U-soof venting your frustrations on us, we’re just expressing our opinion( a GOD given right). You even used the right word yourself… “consistency” something you’ve not been. 2face has, 50 has. Anyway no long story…9ice how far now, Lady Payne don sleep?(no wonder you can come online). Boy I love that you jam GONGO ASO and the other one mmmm….GONGO ASO remix and the other one mmmm… GONGO ASO all stars and the other mmmmm danm!!!! I guess you aint got nothing else coming out your bag of tricks but GONGO ASO. ooboy go sleep.

Haha, good joke homeboy but yeah if you say 50 has been consistent, you probably don’t know what the word entails or we’re just two opposite individuals, one a lover of 9ice music and the other a chronic critic. What is wrong with kinda life? what is wrong street credibility? what is wrong with photocopy? what is wrong with ganja man? Aint it the same lyrical content (yoruba/pidgin/english) on a different beat and style? Even on featured songs, you see the style in the dude. So let the track drop before you lay claims to another gongo aso hit search. And to let you know, it aint 9ice like you jokingly said, Alao Yusuf Olaitan……….thats me!!!!!
