  1. d-one Says:

There is a reason why artists record album tracks at the same stretch/or within a few months, to avoid an album sounding like this. The songs are all over the place, it sounds like it was recorded over 5 years (like life and times of killz), maybe its too early to judge sha, but i only like the ones ive heard before, uner g,monkey banana,i cant feel my face and sinzu is sinzu

  2. 9jaswag Says:

    Sinzu is sinzu

  3. Musig Soul-ja Says:

Some very good tracks are there as well eh….

but i reckon with Tmonei, its all over the place and a little workshop with ur CRITICS (not obsessed fans), but people that can give u an unbiased answer will do….

Well, guess they are his songs and he can do whatever he likes with them but it would be worthless if he heard the tracks alone as well….

    He's a hard worker no doubt…

Just keep pushing, always a lesson learnt be it good or bad….

    Joooooo oh….

    Cheers…

  4. Tolu Says:

Thats why the dude realeased the track list couple of days before the album… its not a suprise… the album is so sick…haters should get lost..

  5. Tmonei Says:

what if I say the album is tight…. but all da good songs are drowned in the album selection by the mediocre ones…..sad!!

most times artiste find it hard to select songs for their albums…Yes da album is highly anticipated, da question is must all da songs an artiste has sang in his life be on da one album? dat means peeps like lilwayne dat has enuff money for session should have a 100 track album at a time…lol

artiste need to learn to let go….an rap album should always have a logical thought pattern…..and songs not be all over da place in the name of Commerce…brevity is da key…..dat keeps da audience asking for more and anticipating……and it shows professionalism..

Artiste need to sit down and brainstorm with critics before doing things such as “album track selection”…..critics are ur friends!

Now, listening to the first few songs….it seems sinzu is obsessed with haters….HATE IS DA NEW LOVE…..GET USED TO IT and tone it down…..lets hear da message and not….how much u hate da haters…..

    MY 2CENT….lol

    sinzu, keep repping..

  6. Babanla critic Says:

Dude stop readin my mind…i like Sauce but I prefer creativity…sounds like we’ve heard it all before…just when i thought somebody was here to up the game..seems like he stopped the game…well.. on to the next one..my eyes on Show dem now…dudes r quite serious

  7. The next big thing Says:

I havent heard the full album but from the little snippets here, I'm not sure this a very good album. I like Sauce. I really do. He knows how to rap no question about that. He has good lyrics. But I'm not sure he has what it takes to crack the naija industry. There's just something missing somewhere. If I were him, and even as an upcoming artist myself, I would look to the most successful naija rappers in recent times (M.I. in particular) and use their work as a benchmark for my work. I'll say to myself "what are these guys doing that I am not doing".. I like Under G, Na me be fine boy, Sinzu is Sinzu, and Elenu, I'm not too sure about the other tracks. Anyway, I hope he makes money off this album because clearly he has been working on it for a long time. But more importantly, he should go back to the drawing board and bring out material that will atleast match if not surpass the heights that Yebariba Samboribobo reached.. Good luck Sauce

  8. fesh Says:

sinzu honestly this album reminds me of a killa cam album; too many tracks na wetin koba am; instead of 20 tracks leading to a 5/10 album why not shave off a few tracks, keep the track length at like 10-15 and come out with an 8/10 album? some of his mixtape tracks are harder than what is on this album but i like the fact that you can feel his energy on the better tracks, he had fun recording the songs and this (mostly) shines through….i expected greatness but i only got OK material…

  9. tosinadeda Says:

    Distribution is bunkers. . . . Gbam!

  10. lexy Says:

Yo sauce some wanksters coming to comment like they are "concerned" ….the songs i have heard are off the hook BIG UPs

  11. tosinadeda Says:

    na so life be o

  12. BheeJay Says:

Give your piece on what you think about the album ppl wud call you hater….pseeeeew….

for me 5 tracks only out the 20. Most time its better Artist goes to where he is hated to hear the truth about ur sound n production too much hype is for album sales not creativity….Am still ur fan sha..

    Sinzu is Sinzu

  13. chuks Says:

don't mean to be negative, but i think the administrators of this site have some kind of special relationship with sauce kid. I cant help but notice the way they've been hyping the album release despite the fact that every post doesn't generate lots of comment. Sauce Kid is mediocre at best.

  14. tosinadeda Says:

u got a prob with that?

  15. Dude Says:

Im sorry but this album is not cohesive enough. Plus its too long!

However, it didn't stop his talent from showing. You can tell there is potential for better work.

"if i dont like it, i dont like it…it dont mean that im hating" – Common

  16. OmoGod Says:

Seriously Sauce!!! I was expecting something great from such a great artist like u that i idore and look up 2 (ur part of my role model)… if i take 4 or 5 songs out of the whole compilation, i beleive the other songs are there to make up the album…

The things i find wrong about the other tracks are just the production, they aint up 2 d standard at all (No Disrespecting oo) but all the same i know and believe u will do better in your next one (Hopefully).. I go buy one album to show support rather than throw judgemental comment alone here..

  17. GidiNoize Says:

I dont know about you guys but this album does it for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  18. sammie Says:

i was very excited about the album but when i finally listened to it, there was no WOW factor about it. it was so-so. there are only 5 songs i like on album which out of 20 to me is not really a good look. lyric wise, sauce kid is absolutely one of the best rappers in nigeria. but there was something about the instrumentals on this album that did not properly mix with his voice and insane lyrics. album was alright but i want album to be great and WOW and DAYUUM next time (lol) which i know it will be next time. i still love u saucekiBABA.

  19. concerned Says:

THis is a very weak album. The mastering and production quality were far from impressive. Once again its more hype less material!!

  20. kaypee Says:

Somthings wrong with the sound and instruments they should have sound engineers work on their tracks before releasing into the market ….not impressed with the album and its the truth not hating….
He is an internationally enlightened rapper and this are the kind of songs he can come up with….i am really disappointed…he talks cool but sings Razz….i think u need more honest people around you because we all know you have so much potential…..

  21. kaypee Says:

And also all musicians should cut loose the use of autotune…it doesnt fit every body and every track it makes tins worse off…just listen to keep pushn chorus was a joke….excessive use of autotune….

  22. Mr mennie Says:

Sauce Kid is tight… even as i have not listen to his album i know he will do good job… hey you don’t compare MI with SAUCE KID… they rap differently… if you don’t know rap category then don’t categorize..simple

  23. Harold Says:

@GidiNoize, really? like really? common let's call it as it is. In as much as we should critic constructively we should be mindful of saying the truth. You want to hear good music? Permit me to recommend "Naija Man" by Mr. O (Onome Ovwori), creative piece of work. Kudos to Sauce.

  24. fesh Says:

the track nobody was messed up by that autotune garbage

yes i do… i believe they ought to give every artiste equal opportunity to display their stuff, they should quit practicing favoritism. Even 2face didn’t get this kind of promo when he was coming out with unstoppable.

  27. Qwerty Poiu Says:

absolutely agree, the songs jst dont go together, same thing with ikechukwus album. like a bunch of songs plucked from everywhere stuffed in2 a cd.

  28. Limpopo Says:

What if there’s money involved? I honestly don’t get your gripe.

  31. tosinadeda Says:

    Distribution and airplane mode!

    Thats hiphop

  32. The next big thing Says:

I’m not comparing Sinzu to M.I.
Clearly they have different styles. I’m just saying that Sauce Kid, a rapper who without any doubt has the potential to be one of the best rappers if not the best in naija, should take a couple of leaves out of M.I’s book and build on it. In other words, rap in a way that most of your naija peepz will not only understand but enjoy and relate to. Remember that 98% of the pple buying the album are from naija. I mean the yankee accent is cool and all but he sounds better when he raps/sings in pidgin and yoruba.

  33. Koyce Says:

i just got the album,i will share my thought when i listen to it thoroughly.please guys do the same before u judge the album

  34. slimcute Says:

i love your comment. true talk

  35. mike Says:

Come on pple, its like everybody has forgotten that this is sinzu's 1st album and most of yall are looking for excuses to hate the work.Dude has been in the rap game for sometime and he is even more popular than most artists with 5 albums to their name.

He clearly has the gift and talent and can only get better….period

  36. Verdict Says:

Stop ass kissing u butt licker.

  37. Koyce Says:

Don’t forget this a blog and if u don’t like what you see..u leave and don’t come back… simples

  38. tunde bakare Says:

Is that track 1 meant to be a diss for modenine? common sauce modenine didnt even give u a verse or a line in his last album and told everyone to move on…common sauce, hmmm we will see if this a clever move or not in the near future but trust me i know some underground rappers who will come for you now cos u left urself vunerable. Trust.

  39. BheeJay Says:

If you re not jammin to distribution that means something dey wrong wit ur head or brain….room dey imporovement sha person papa..lolz
    sinzu is sinzu

  40. fesh Says:

i be one of the first pple to buy the album (fact!) so i listened to it before i gave my opinion

  41. nickelbleu Says:

true true i appreciate ur comment

  42. nickelbleu Says:

this is not a blog tho its a website…

  43. nickelbleu Says:

From what i have heard and come to appreciate sinzu for, this is a decent album i mean for me it doesnt have the wow factor but i can see it growing on me, this kinda heavy hiphop/rap is not my field but i can appreciate. having said dat i have a question…wat is d album saying???? as in its called african american but wat is the message that is being sent?? i mean dere r parry jamz and tings on it but wat else?? i m not gng in on sauce at all for this but i just need to say people best start rapping about something tangible and not just dropping rhymes. also 20 tracks? is a bit too much, u 4 scale it down small. 7.9/10 :)

ok that first album excuse doesn’t hold up: listen to M.I’s first album, Naeto C’s first album, DMX’s first album, Eminem’s first album, Ja Rule’s first album, etc etc….you gotta come correct everytime and sauce has the potential so i dunno why this album is just ok!

  46. Rali Says:

  48. misdear Says:

Lets face it, after 8years u come out with ur debut album and only gets internet buzz, left lagos to PH yesterday and my goons here are not even interested cos sauce brags a lot, he makes sumfin outta nuffin, if u criticize anythin he does (constructively or not) you are an hater, common sauce live the real life, u a gangsta wanna be, dis album can only be compared to Jesse Jagz album, nuffin more, u come up wif crap, jerking up and down, you aint even a rapper bro, u just good with the accent, if u go for rap screening anywhere outside Naija, u sure is gonna be kicked out, i dont even wanna hear ur next album, just quit rap and do fuji cos ur really good with that.

  49. Mr. Invictus Says:

  50. T Says:

My guy don’t mind the haterz Jo. I like the album! (yes maybe less tracks would be better but whatever.)
And wtf, ya’ll saying he should quit rap should quit using that thing you call a mouth. If you don’t like the guys personality don’t equate that to his lyrical ability. Sauce is too nice with his delivery. I have a real list of other Naija rap artists who should quit rap but I’ll refrain from mentioning names.

  51. dahray Says:

i can bet this guy has not listened to the album… now u tell me whats wrong with jerking. better than that alanta dance id tell u that much

    Smh. . .

  62. dahray Says:
