I can't give a complete review because I have not bought the album yet, but from the previews i have heard, Im a bit disappointed, the previews did not sell the album for me…It sounded like he was not sure if he wanted to rap…rappers please you should not be trying to make wizkid type pop songs, we the naija pple want rap, yes rap…commercial or otherwise but please rap, not all these mixed genre that leaves one wondering how to define ur work…anyways a full review will be coming if I decide to buy the album.

This album in my opinion is GOOD! HE showed his versatility to an extent and his lyrics were on point. Even the beats were good. Anybody saying otherwise might be hearing something else. And btw, stop comparing it to Wizkid's, half of Wizkid's songs were danceable and party songs. Not the same with a rap artist. I have not heard a better rap album this year. For a debut album, it's a great effort. The massiveness of Oleku and Superstar might have overhyped people's expectations but this album is good. Btw, watch all the songs pick up and most of them become hits. We always critisize till the grow on us. Great effort Ice Prince. It will only get better.

While some people may find this album as an "album of the year"quality, I just didn't think it hit that level I was expecting. With all the hype on the album and Ice Prince's level o talent, I expected to be blown away. The album is a really good album for an artist that's not exactly on a "CHOC BOY" level but not exactly there for an artist like Ice Prince.
Don't get me wrong, I found some songs really good and I'm definitely putting them on my ipod but some other songs just weren't hitting the spot for me. But its my overall verdict though. In my opinion, for an album to be awesome, the number of amazing tracks should be like 85% at least. But oh well, it might just grow on me as time goes on, as it happened to me with MI2: The Movie.
By the way, what happened to that song "Omo you dey carry me play tennis" or something like that? I know one has to make surplus songs for an album and then the final ones will be selected for the album but that song would have been a massive hit if it were selected for the album. It was really catchy when I watched it in one of the "Road to ELI" videos.
Overall, these are just my opinions, everybody has different opinions and this is just mine. I realize the hard work that must have gone into this album though and I'd like to say congratulations to Ice Prince for this one, the journey has just begun for you. Cheers!!!!

Ok, let me put in my 2 cents…. This album has a growing factor… I got it yesterday and I was a little bit not impressed but man this album is worth every penny… You have to play this album and don't expect to dance before it starts playing… Grab a chair and relax with a glass of palmwine or better still juice and enjoy what's up… Kudos to Jesse and M.I for the production, though some songs were not well mixed (Talking from the perspective of a beat maker)… One more thing, that song "Omo u dey carry me play tennis" and "Badt guy, Iceprince zamani (jaguda.com)" were heavy tunes I looked up to but it's unfortunate they didn't make the album… Sorry but wizkid shouldn't have been on this album, tho I understand he is a really close friend to ice prince and a good kid #MyOpinion…

No offenses, but ice prince kinda rushed in this one. The album is a little below expectations. 'Oleku' came out like a bomb then and many Nigerians expected a more explosive album. The album is just there, anyway. That IT!!!!!

For the album to generate 147 comments so far and counting shows it's a good piece of art. Ice Prince has done well in my opinion to make people talk about the album. I also think they never expected everyone to kowtow to every single song on the album. You either love, like something or you don't. That's just it.
It's a great album that simply tells us a lot about the artist. I like the album.

Asking for "hardcore" as termed by the American society is failing to understand the Nigerian psyche…we don't wallow in degradation and sings praises about it, we look to sing praise to get us out of that pit…Vocal Slender is a case in point. We do have artists that talk about some of the degradations of our society, but not in terms of glorifying the arm robbers that came and killed someone or the cult wars or what have you but rather highlighting the wrongs of such so we are more aware and take action to fix it…Kahli Abdu is one such artist and he does it with extreme skill. Being real to me is hardcore, getting that right blend of music and lyrics, so what's hardcore to you?

Dreamer project was live I admit but for me, it didn't do it all. And quite frankly that could be down to the fact that I don't really like rap duo's cos I have to adjust and accomodate two different styles. They had a good album but i still like this one better.

What more do u expect in an album? Some of us do not realise that all ur songs cannot be of the same level as that song that got you up there IMPOSSIBLE. This guy has displayed hardwork, creativity, and versatility couple with an excellent production effort of Jagz. I wish his critics understand the amount of hardwork invested on this. Okay this album has been out for like a month now and who’s still talking about it? Some of you folks need to understand that it’s okay for someone to have an opinion and not start calling people stupid cuz the don’t like what you like. I bought this album and only put 3 on my mp3 player. Why? I’m not old but cuz of my love for hip hop I listen to tracks way back as 1991 and when you appreciate guys like a tribe called quest your taste tends to be deeper. For the average nigerian consumer, he might not notice intricate flaws in this album though. No1 , as some have said here some songs aren’t mixed properly. No2, when you look at the album as a whole he used the Jamaican flow thing too much. No3, he can’t sing. No4, what’s up with the on to the next one sampling on one track like that? Is this a mixtape? I could go on and on but I really like Ice Prince but it’s just not that good from my perspective. Making hip hop that will appeal to the masses and still be on point isn’t easy and one thing I can’t fault is the attempt try a new approach. So there I bought the album with my money and well I’m not too happy with it.
