“Ever Since” is a slow-paced track featuring 9ice in his full element. I’m diggin’ this joint heavily ’cause they both came korrect. “If Only” is a more fast-paced track with that Euro feel in it. Listen to them and let me know what you think.

Anyone who is anyone in the Nigerian music industry knows and respects Jamix! He is one of the craziest producers in Lagos but not as visible as the common names. His productions include Styl-Plus’s “Always on my mind,” ModeNine’s “Nigerian Girls,” Faze’s “Kolomental”, most of OverDose’s songs, and several others.

In 2009, he stepped out with one of the heaviest collaborations of the year featuring M.I, Terry G and 9ice” on the hit single “Omo Naija.” Now he has released his debut album as a Producer titled “The Lecture.” It’s a very juicy compilation with features from the likes of Kel, Ice Prince, Wizkid (on “My Party”, which you can hear below), among other known names. You definitely need to own a copy as a music lover. For those in Nigeria, look out for it on the streets. In the video below, RMG recording artiste Michael Word plays the guitar while 9ice performs street credibility along with “The Ajayi Brothers”. I am not too familiar with the last song 9ice is singing where he sings “The Don’t know, they can’t know…they mystified”, sounds like unreleased material.

In a bid to promote 9ice’s latest single, Appetizer, Alaposurplus has decided to release another viral video (in addition to the studio session) of him singing the song.

Could this be a good promo move? Only time will tell. Heavy tune!

When 9ice announced, earlier in the year, that he would be putting out FIVE (5) albums over a 12 month period, most people thought he was kidding. So far, he has released “Tradition” (late last year), 3 singles off the yet-to-be-released “Versus” album, and now, we’re getting 2 fresh singles which will appear on a whole new album titled “Tradition Vol. II”. On top of that, he has also released 2 videos off the Tradition album, and there’s more to come. If he isn’t the hardest worker in the game at the moment, then I wonder who is.

I’m definitely feeling “Appetizer” and “WWW”. You can tell 9ice is enjoying the single life, and there’s nothing the “mudaf**king press” can do about it.

“It started as a rumour that 9ice caught his wife Toni Payne giving Ruggedman a blow job.I wondered where such a terrible rumour emanated from only to find out it was from 9ices song titled ”once bitten twice shy”.In the song done by my own friend,he sang that he saw his ”girl” (Not his wife Toni Payne) giving his ”friend”(Not Ruggedman) a blow job.Since 9ice himself did not mention anybodys name in the said song I thought nothing of the evil,wicked rumour,but it spread wider and i heard a lot of people started assuming a lot and i have been called so many things by people over something i did not do.

Even some shameless soft sells unproffessionally published the rumour based on heresay, without talking to the partys involved,but i dont blame them.Some will publish anything just to sell.

I expected 9ice as a friend to come out and clear it up by announcing to people that it was not me he sang about in his song but till date he has not done so to reasons best known to him i guess.I called 9ice to talk about it and clear it up and he said so many things including that he will not come out and clear my name that has been dragged into a maliscous rumour.
I did not want to believe that 9ice has refused to clear it up because it is helping his album sales like some people have said.I did not want to believe it but I am happy i recorded the conversation and I want you all to hear for urselves what he said to me so that this rumour can stop once and for all.

9ice AKA Adigun AlaPomeji is Back with 3 new singles off his ‘Versus’ album which should be released some time in 2010. Surprisingly, he featured rappers on all 3 tracks, but looking at the image below it appears that Banky W and D’banj Terry G will also make it on the album.
