Late last year, we introduced you guys to a new 19-year old dancehall artiste called Patoranking (it’s really him!). At the time, he was still unsigned. Now, we can concretely tell you guys that the little exposure he got has landed him a deal with K-Solo’s Igberaga Records.

“Up In D Club” is Patoranking’s first official single under his new label, and it’s one that’s built for the clubs and pubs. I’m already a fan.

Super-Producer K-Solo, who has a very large say in the success of household names Timaya and Klever Jay, has renamed his label K-Solo Inc Music (previously Igberaga Records). At the moment, the biggest name on his platform is (Lord of) Ajasa, but with younger talents like Slimmz and Patoranking now in the picture, I expect real growth in popularity of the label.

Here’s the remix to Klever Jay’s previously released single here on notjustOk.com. Klever Jay, the dude that gave us the hit singles “Koni Koni Luv” and “Igboro Ti Daru” is currently putting final touches and thrashing out Alaba deals on his new album titled “Here I Come Again” billed for release on the 10th of February (date subject to change).

Artistes featured on the album include Ruggedman, Terry G, K-Solo, Lord of Ajasa and Da Grin. Best believe I’ll be buying my own copy when it drops!

I expect another hit with “Sho Wa Sexy.” More info/tracks on the way.

Brand new joint from hitmaker, K-Solo, who happens to be among the most visible producers of 2009. I can’t even count the number of artistes he’s worked with though his biggest success still lies with the likes of Timaya, Klever Jay and Paul Play Dairo. His admirers and critics seem to increase by the day, but the C.E.O. of Igberaga Records (with the likes of Lord of Ajasa) doesn’t seem to mind.

Expect new K-Solo productions on the upcoming albums from music heavyweights, Timaya and Banky W.

Jaywon, new artist under Kennis Music just released his debut album today in Nigeria. I am certain it will be available for purchase on most street corners and retail stores today in Naija. Just to refresh your memory on Jaywon, we first noticed him on the Filebe video which Ovie posted a few months ago.

Here is a new single off his album ft Timaya, The Egberipapa-1 of Bayelsa. I think Jaywon has a promising future especially with Kennis behind him, but let me know what your thoughts are on him as an artist.

H-Man has returned with a brand new, never before heard track which should be hitting radio in a fortnight. The song is actually unfinished; but it sounds mixed to me.

A fiya track that can easily become a favorite among club goers in Naija. Didn’t H-Man just release his last album in April of ‘09? I can see that he is extra focused!
