For the 3rd Friday running, OluwaSaucekibaba has decided to put out another tune off his “Da RipOff” mixtape dropping sometime after “African American” drops.
Sauce Kid is quickly becoming one of my favorite artistes in music… PERIOD! Special shout-out to Ghetto P, Maximum, Xela Xelz and Special Ed. Everyone came korrect!
Brand new mixtape material from OluwaSaucekibaba himself and Ikechukwu. On this joint, both lyricists pull the trigger on the “Always Strapped” instrumental; and I’m told it will be on Sauce’s next mixtape titled ““Da Rip Off“.”
Sauce has just wrapped up the video shoot for his next single “Under G” produced by Don Jazzy. The single drops anytime from now. In addition, the much-anticipated “African American” album will be released under Storm Records sometime in March (we don wait tire!).
Gotta say both rappers were messy with their flows; the kinda lyrical heat we’re now accustomed to. Sauce, my oga, ABEG RELEASE YOUR ALBUM!!! Enjoy!
Here’s another edition of the Select-10s. The month of September brought alot of controversy, as well as the emergence of some talented US and UK-based Naija artistes. Their dominance on the list shows evidence of growth in the industry in diaspora. Will we eventually have a competitive music market outside the shores of Nigeria? Only time will tell. Till then, help yourselves with a free download below.
Once again, we take pains to stress the fact that the notjustOk select is not a Top 10 list of any kind and there is no underlying reason why one song is listed before the other; there is no first or last.
notjustOk Select – 10 is a list of ten songs/posts that have made a major impact on the listeners/readers in a given month. Several factors come into determining how big of an impact a single post made in a given month, such as page views, record breaking amount of comments and constant mp3 request for the specific song. In addition to spotlighting the select 10s, we will provide a DOWNLOAD link so that you can save the mp3s.
SauceKid’s album is dropping soon for sure and the video for ‘Na Me Be Fine Boi‘ will be out shortly.
The chemistry is evident, these two (Sinzu and Meaku) make beautiful music whenever they get together on a track. Sinzu needs to make a video for this track even if he does it for the streets.
I am now convinced that SauceKid will both drop a solid album and remain a respected brand in the Naija rap game. Mad flow and sick hook!!!!
‘…you looking shook cause I’m getting booked while you facebooking‘
Mr. Controversy, Sauce Kid, recently wrapped up an interview with Liz Yemoja at the Storm Records Headquarters. On the interview, he calls out Terry G as a “swagga jacker” …literally! Apparently, Sauce sights his “Yebariba Swagga Swagga” joint from 2006 as the birth of the term “swagga” in Nigerian music.
Here’s a preview of what he said. Full interview coming soon…
UPDATE
Storm has asked us and Liz Yemoja to take the video down for the reasons cited below “Storm is not here to support anybody dissing other artists or creating or generating beef. Storm have respect for Terry G and Jesse Jagz and whatever personal issues Sauce has with them should not be coming out as if it was sanctioned by us” Obi Asika of Storm Records.
**UPDATE**
***Since the original author of the video hasn’t taken it down after 24 hours of receiving the formal request, we believe we aren’t doing anything wrong in re-uploading it, as it is currently on youtube for the general public to view.

The stage performance you see was recorded last night at the Felabration 2009 Concert held at the Afrika Shrine, Ikeja, Lagos in celebration of Fela’s birthday.
New banger from Mr. International alongside Sauce Kid (on the hook). He dedicates this one to all Nigerian ladies across the globe.
I think this is definitely a good follow-up single to Mr. International. It shows he’s pound-for-pound one of the best Naija lyricists yet to even hit gidi. Xmas can’t come any faster for him. Feel it, and lemme know your thoughts…
The homie Sauce Kid aka Sinzu aka Saucekibaba, vacationing in California, just leaked a new tune to us. This was recorded LAST NIGHT into this morning, along with R & B singer, Meaku. I’m already feeling this joint alot more than Na Me Be Fine Boi (not saying it isn’t a good song). This should appeal to those into Southern hiphop.
As this song is still far from finished, If you were Sauce Kid, who would you feature on the next verse? I personally recommend the lyrical were, Da Grin! I’m sure he’ll take a dump on this beat. Your thoughts…

Beat laced by C-Zure. He also made the beat to “She Say She Say” which will appear on the African American album.
DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia) based artiste, ToneStar has returned with a remix to Whus Good; the video for the original track was released some time in June.
Tonestar stays grinding as he gets help from NewYork resident Cap B, Afrigang General Iceberg Slim and new Storm Artiste OluasauceKidbaba for the remix.
‘Your money short, shorter than M.I‘ I see Cap B decided to use the line on a track; bold move.
