This one is for the Naija celebrity artists, many, if not majority, of whom bookmark and visit NotJustok.com regularly.
The Problem
Nigerian celebrities, like celebrities worldwide, know people will talk about them, regardless. Who is s/he dating? S/he is so arrogant. Did you see what s/he wore? His album was horrible etc. Really, it’s part of life. Deal with it. However, what happens when you get hit with vicious rumors that go beyond the ordinary to just plain “I will destroy you, your family and your village?” For example, did you read the story on Uche Jumbo earlier this year that circulated everywhere and claimed she “aborted” her six-month old child? That “ish” was not funny and by all accounts was traumatic for the actress. What about singer/actor Jim Iyke? Did you read the story that he allegedly contracted HIV/AIDS from his married Sierra Leone secret lover? Wow! Finally, who could forget Wande Coal’s allegedly naked pictures that circulated on twitter and the internet? Super embarrassing. Plus, assume the pictures were indeed Coal’s, he never gave permission for it to be republished on www.
Beyond the fact that these rumors are absolutely very injurious to the professional reputation of the personalities involved, it also, on a personal level, hurts these individuals who have done nothing wrong than to excel at their crafts. Here is how to nip that in the butt, online and “Yankee” style.

Etisien to all ma Ghanaian Bethrens!
Still haven’t found one person who doesn’t like this remix. The original was good, the remix IMO was even better!. The Ghanaian plus Naija thing has worked in the past and it has worked better with Wande and R2Bees. We have seen loads of Good videos lately and this one is no exception!

The biggest news of the year in the Nigerian entertainment industry (bar DaGrin’s death) is the leaked nude photos of Wande Coal which is still doing rounds over the internet. We posted Mohits’ Press Release denying the authenticity of the picture, and the public outcry has been ceaseless ever since.
Silverbird TV’s E-Weekly Show has gone a step further by interviewing other superstars to get their opinions; and the support has been massive! I particularly loved the part where Anita Hogan, a fellow victim of a celebrity nude photo scandal, got on stage to give Wande a hug. Watch and share your thoughts.

It’s a new day, it’s a new week, and it’s the last day of the month of May. That brings us to another edition of the notjustOk Select-10 where we give you guys a chance to download TEN (10) of your favorite songs from the prior month (in this case, April) all for FREE!!!
April was quite an eventful month; possibly the most active month of 2010 thus far, for both good and bad reasons. First, we had “Kelly Hansome Vs The NoiseMakers“; then came “Cobhams Vs Yahoo-Yahoo“. However, the fun part of April was totally eclipsed with the passing away of one of the major exponents of the Nigerian music industry: DaGrin! (R.I.P.) and the release of his “If I Die” single (recorded in February 2010) which made many believe he foresaw his own death. It’s a lil over a month now, and we miss him so dearly. Well, let’s get right into it.
notjustOk select is not a Top 10 list of any kind and there is no underlying reason why one song is listed before the other; there is no first or last.
notjustOk Select – 10 is a list of ten songs/posts that have made a major impact on the listeners/readers in a given month. Several factors come into determining how big of an impact a single post made in a given month, such as page views, record breaking amount of comments and constant mp3 request for the specific song. In addition to spotlighting the select 10s, we will provide a download link so that you can save the mp3s.
Please REMEMBER: The download link will be up for 3 DAYS ONLY! after which it will be deleted/deactivated!

This is the infamous freestyle by Wande Coal done over the Kiss Your Hand (DanceHall Version) instrumental (R2Bees) that triggered Kelly Hansome’s fresh shots at the Mohits camp on his ‘Catch Me If You Can‘ song. According to Kelly, the continuous mention of ‘Who Born D Maga’ is an indirect jab at him
Wande Coal just wrapped up his U.S.A tour and will be performing in Malaysia on April 30.
Apparently, Wande Coal recorded this freestyle before ‘Kiss Your Hand (Dance Hall Version)’ was recorded. Ghanamusic reports that ““Kiss Your Hand” was originally performed by Wande Coal as freestyle on the Road to the MAMAs for B.E.T. It was reported that during the freestyle session R2Bees happened to be in the studio with Killbeatz who masterminded the beat for the hit track.”
The song came out solid none the less.

R2Bees ft Wande Coal – Kiss ur Hand (Dancehall Version)
Posted on January 21st, 2010 by Ovie O
The group, R2Bees, has come to us as one of the hottest groups in Ghana. This is their latest single featuring Naija’s own Wande Coal, and it’s the Dancehall version of WC’s “Kiss Ur Hand” which can be heard on the “Mushin 2 Mohits” album.
R2Bees officially launched their new album “Da Revolution” sometime in December. You can listen to the track snippets on itunes and Amazon, then purchase it for good measure. One Africa!

World Premiere: D’Prince Drops 3 New Singles
Posted on November 25th, 2009 by Ovie O
Mo Hits in the Building! Da Prince is here, Da Prince is here!!!
D’Prince has just dropped 3 bombshells on us at once! …and boy, are these 3 songs hot or what?! D’Prince, who’s Don Jazzy’s brother, is one of the rappers in the record label, which happens to be arguably the most “swagged out” and most influencial music label in Nigeria today.
In my opinion, all 3 songs will do very very well in the market. Certified hits!

Don Jazzy is the master of the art of Production. He should be called Prof. Jazzy!
